Sangoma Technologies Launches United Kingdom Cloud-based Business Communication Suite

Award-Winning Cloud PBXact and SIPStation services now available for businesses in the UK

London, United Kingdom, September 5, 2018 – Sangoma Technologies Inc., a subsidiary of Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSXV:STC) a trusted leader in delivering Unified Communications solutions for SMBs, Enterprises, OEMs, and Service Providers, both on-premises and in the cloud, today announced the launch of both Cloud PBXact UCaaS service and SIPStation SIP trunking service for the United Kingdom market.

PBXact Cloud is designed to provide small and medium businesses with an affordable, 100% OPEX, full-featured Unified Communication cloud solution providing mobile and distributed workforces the ability to connect from their smartphones and desktop phones, wherever they are, in the office, at home or travelling.  SIPStation provides SIP trunking to small and medium businesses, which enables these businesses to utilize their existing internet connection to connect to their existing business phone system.  This saves businesses money by removing the costly ISDN or analogue lines dedicated only to voice services, enables predictable monthly phone expenses due to bundled pricing, and empowers the business to purchase only the trunking capacity that it needs.

With over 20,000 downloads per month and hundreds of thousands of businesses using its PBX and Unified Communication platforms worldwide, Sangoma Technologies is disrupting the communications landscape. It’s cloud-based phone systems are easy to buy, manage and use, and it enables businesses to optimise calls, IVR’s, chat, presence, collaboration, call queues, conferencing and recording across all their locations, all without having to purchase and deploy expensive on-premise hardware.

“We’ve had great success with our cloud offerings in North America.  Bringing our proven cloud model to the UK market utilising Sangoma’s local UK operations, support and engineering presence, including using a UK data centre, will enable our customers to feel confident in their choice of Sangoma.  Sangoma’s cloud-based telephony solutions include collaboration and unified communications features, thus offering superior value” said Bill Wignall, CEO of Sangoma Technologies. “Our goal is to provide enterprise functionality to businesses of all sizes and give them a competitive edge by providing advanced services for seamless communications wherever they are, and whenever they want.”
