Vega 400GF Digital Gateways
Sangoma’s Vega 400GF gateway provides data centers and service providers with a rich set of Fax over IP (FoIP) features and functions suitable for high-speed, high-density fax production, saving you money on toll charges.
The Vega 400GF connects your FoIP application to T1/E1 trunks to enable TDM connectivity when SIP trunks are not available, delivering highly reliable, real-time faxing over the T.38 protocol. It comes with 4 T1/E1 ports for up to 120 licensed channels optimized for high-density faxing. Since the T.38 protocol retains the standard T.30 fax data stream, it can be used with legacy T.30-based devices and with newer T.38-based solutions.
The Vega 400GF digital VoIP gateway is available in:
- 4 port T1/E1 supporting up to 120 simultaneous faxes.
Gateway Applications
Gateway Features
High-Density Fax
Designed for high-density faxing.
Highly Interoperable
Compatible with Dialogic Brooktrout SR140 fax software and your existing FoIP application.
High Availability
Built-in bypass ports ensure that a secondary connected Vega 400GF will automatically assume the role of the primary in the case of catastrophic failure. Once normal operation is restored, the gateways will automatically resume original roles.
Built-In Local Survivability
In the event of a VoIP failure, the Vega gateway will allow internal extensions to continue calling each other and automatically route to a failover PSTN connection if available.
High-Precision Clock
High-precision Stratum III clock.
Field Upgradable
Firmware updates can be performed remotely through WebGUI.
Fast Call Setup Time
Supports V.8 fast handshaking and advanced compression cutting call setup time.
TR-069
Automated configuration with TR-069.
Error Correction Mode
While more susceptible to IP network issues, such as packet loss or jitter, G.711 fax pass-through provides an option for enabling FoIP when T.38 is not supported.
Enable FoIP when T.38 is Not Supported
While more susceptible to IP network issues, such as packet loss or jitter, G.711 fax pass-through provides an option for enabling FoIP when T.38 is not supported.
