Sangoma to Hold Vega Series Training at ITEXPO East in Miami

Free certification training on the award-winning line of gateway appliances for current and potential distribution partners

TORONTO, ONTARIO–(Marketwire – Jan. 17, 2012) – Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE:STC), a leading provider of hardware and software components that enable or enhance IP Communications Systems for both voice and data, today announced that it will host a full day hands-on training session on its award-winning Vega series of products. The session is scheduled for January 31, 2012 at the ITEXPO East conference, located at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This training is offered at no cost and is open to current and potential distribution partners and end users.

“With the escalating global interest in the Vega series products, and the marked increase in sales volume that we’ve experienced over the past few months, we feel that it makes good business sense to offer this session at a premier event such as ITEXPO East,” said Simon Horton, director of product management for Sangoma. “This event includes strong participation from Latin and Central America, and as our products gain market-share in those regions, ITEXPO is the perfect venue to deliver relevant information to our partners that are targeting those markets.”

Participants in the training will learn how to configure, troubleshoot and maintain the versatile Vega series devices for mediation between IP and TDM networks, and for services that include SIP trunking, transcoding and signaling gateway applications. The session will also provide an overview of the current product series, business application cases, and a view into new products and capabilities planned for the coming months.

Resellers interested in participating in the training or learning more about becoming a Sangoma partner can register at https://sangoma-vegatraining-jan31.eventbrite.com/

“Sangoma is rapidly expanding the breadth and depth of interworking features and functions across the entire Vega line of products,” concluded Horton. “We will be introducing new solutions for service providers and businesses alike during the conference. This session is a great opportunity to ensure that our distribution partners are ready to benefit from the tangible value that the Vega series can deliver to their customers.”
