Sangoma Announces Line of Headsets

Expands Sangoma’s Full UC product offering while enhancing remote working experience

MARKHAM, ONTARIO, March 31, 2020 – Sangoma Technologies Corporation (TSX VENTURE: STC), a trusted leader in delivering Communications as a Service solutions for businesses of all sizes, service providers and OEMs, today announced it will be offering a line of headsets that are specifically designed to work with the Sangoma D-Series and S-Series of IP Phones.

This new product line will initially include two models to start: the H10 and H20 headsets. The H10 is a monaural wireless DECT headset specifically designed to automatically configure with the Sangoma D-Series and S-Series of IP phones once the headset is connected to the phone via a standard RJ11 cord. Other features include wideband audio for exceptional sound quality, noise-canceling microphone, multi-function button for call handling, and call status and mute LED indicators. The H20 headset design enables use with the Sangoma Zulu and Switchvox Desktop softphones across a standard USB connection to the computer.

“Work is different now. It happens wherever you are, and there is no reason to be tethered to a particular place. Users of our Switchvox, PBXact and FreePBX Unified Communications systems are working remotely these days. And they want the added convenience of a headset and the ability to roam the office or home office while staying connected, especially with the growing use of softphones. This gives them the ability to either roam up to 325 feet while remaining connected or to answer their phone when away from their office or home office desk,” said Jim Machi, VP of Marketing at Sangoma. “This product expands our full-service UC offering that includes our business phone system, IP desk phones, retail and wholesale SIP trunking, SBCs and gateways, and desktop and mobile client software, to now include headsets. We are truly a one-stop shop for a business wanting a full UC system.”

Ordering for the H10 is available immediately through normal channels. Pricing is available on the Sangoma portal. Initially the H10 will support only North American DECT frequencies, with European DECT frequency support to occur within a quarter. The H20 will also be available within a quarter.
