Sangoma not only offers a very competitive health benefits package including medical, dental and vision coverage, we also offer income protection benefits including life insurance, short term disability, and long term disability.

Health Benefits

Medical

Sangoma offers Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama Medical insurance to employees that work 30 or more hours each week. Sangoma pays 70% of the premium for either individual or family coverage.

Dental

Dental Insurance with Principal is available on either an individual or family basis for eligible employees. Sangoma pays 70% of the premium for either coverage level.

Vision

Vision benefits include annual eye exams, coverage for glasses or contact lenses. Sangoma pays 100% of the premium.

Flexible Spending Accounts - Healthcare

Employees can contribute up to $2,550 to the Healthcare FSA help pay for qualified medical expenses.

Savings Benefits

Dependent Care Reimbursement/Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

Employees can contribute pre-tax monies to the Dependent Care Account for qualified dependent care expenses up to the amount allowed by federal law.

401(K) Retirement Savings

Sangoma strongly encourages our employees to save for retirement by offering a 401(k) plan matched by the company with no vesting schedule. The 1st 3% is matched at 100%, and the next 2% is matched at 50%.

Educational Assistance

Regular full-time employees who have been with Sangoma for a minimum of six months will receive reimbursement for qualifying educational expenses that are approved in advance and meet company criteria, including tuition, required books, and laboratory and registration fees.

Paid Time Off

Vacation

Sangoma offers vacation time off with pay to full and part-time employees for rest, relaxation, and personal pursuits, Full-time employees receive 10 vacation days each year, Vacation days increase after 5, 10, and 20 years of employment.

Sangoma gives holiday time off to all employees on the following holidays:

Personal Time

Sangoma provides Personal Leave for eligible employees to use for illness, injury, and personal business.

Insurance Benefits

Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Sangoma provides Basic Term Life and AD&D coverage at 150% of employee’s salary up to a maximum of $300,000. Sangoma pays 100% of the premium.

Voluntary Life Insurance
Employees may purchase additional life insurance on themselves, their spouse and their children.

Short Term Disability
Sangoma pays 100% of the premium.

Long Term Disability
