Sangoma NetBorder Express Media Gateway is a software application that runs Sangoma telephony hardware boards. This unique approach by Sangoma enables a very tight level of integration between our media gateway and Lync. You can have NetBorder Express be co-resident on the same PC asMicrosoft Lync components offering significant reduction in costs.

The NetBorder Express Media Gateway can have the following usage in the Microsoft Lync Ecosystem:

  • PSTN and legacy PBX connectivity support with T1, E1, BRI and analog protocols
  • Survivable branch appliance to add voice resiliency to your branch offices
  • Connectivity of fax machines and analog devices

Your unified communications platform already runs on a PC platform, so it only makes sense to also have your Media Gateway run on a PC platform.
