Sales Administrator
You are an organized individual with excellent customer service skills and possess a commitment to exceed customer expectations. Efficient and accurate with attention to detail are key attributes that describe you. Good computer and order entry skills are required as is ensuring time lines are met. This position aids, supports, and helps coordinate the functions and interactions of the sales team, to drive sales and increase productivity, while providing the best customer service possible. The Sales Administrator reports to the VP Sales and Marketing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in sales processing, including order entry
- Assist in various pre-selling and post selling activities
- Prepare sales quotes at the direction of the salesperson
- Send product specs to customers at the direction of the salespeople
- Customer Database (CRM) administration and maintenance
- Leads and Opportunity Management
- Prepare various weekly/monthly/quarterly reports for the management team
- Liaise with other departments to maximize product and service delivery
- Assisting salespeople on the road for price, stock check and special projects
- Prepare and distribute price lists upon request from customers and sales & marketing personnel
- Maintain price lists and contract price files in ACCPAC database
- Quoting Customers product pricing and availability, as required, on a daily basis
- Providing customers with updated delivery information
- Following up on existing orders
- Query follow-up in a positive, co-operative and responsive manner
Experience:
- 2+ years experience in Sales Administration, including order entry responsibilities
Required Skills:
- Excellent skills and knowledge with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint) and Sage ACCPAC
- Excellent communication (verbal and written English) and superior interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Must be proactive in client contact
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Naturally take initiative and enjoy prioritizing a variety of responsibilities
- A background in sales support/administration, preferably from an information technology environment
Salary and Futures:
- The salary is negotiable with a quarterly bonus, if sales objectives are met.
- This position has a natural flow into inside/outside sales, if desired.
